When you use the Drivo self-service identity verification kiosk, we collect the following information:

  • Phone number: Used solely to send you a one-time verification link via SMS
  • Identity verification results: The outcome of your ID scan and liveness check (approved, declined, or pending), processed by our third-party provider Didit

We do not store copies of your ID documents, facial images, or biometric data on our servers. All document scanning and facial matching is handled directly by Didit in accordance with their privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used exclusively for the purpose of verifying your identity to complete a vehicle rental. Specifically:

  • Your phone number is used to deliver the verification link and is not shared with third parties for marketing
  • Verification results are used to confirm your eligibility to pick up a rental vehicle
  • No data is sold to third parties

Verification session records (phone number and verification status) are retained only for the duration needed to complete your rental transaction. Session data is automatically purged within 24 hours of creation.

  • Decline to use the self-service kiosk (manual verification is available at the counter)

The Service is not intended for individuals under 21 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
